Nonwoven sheet made of regenerative plant fiber

Home cleaning brand ease has launched its first product, Multi-Purpose Laundry Detergent Sheets, available for $16 at easenewyork.com. Shipping is available in North America. Ease detergent sheets feature color-catcher properties made with a nonwoven regenerative plant fiber, which allows whites and colored clothes to wash together while preventing color bleeds and extra fabric dyes from reaching the water source. Proven and tested with a gentle formula, Ease’s powerful laundry detergent sheets eliminate the use of toxic ingredients and can catch harmful chemicals such as potassium dichromate (often found in bleach). Eco-friendly and safe to the skin, it’s free of paraben, allergen, and bleach. To effectively combat tough stains and odors, powerful cleaning enzymes are lastly airbrushed onto the detergent sheets. Each laundry detergent sheet is ultra-concentrated and can wash up to 20 shirts with each load. One box of Ease detergent can wash 30 loads of laundry. Used sheets can also function as dryer sheets to protect against static. Ease was founded with the idea of delivering only the essentials needed for making home a simple and clean space. Ease is the work of William Teng, who noticed that 700 million plastic detergent bottles were used each year. “Not only do the bottles pollute the environment, but the liquid is also a pain to be used in the measuring process. Most laundry detergents on the market now are often prone to cause skin irritation, difficult to wash off, and or shorten fabric life cycle because of added chemicals and irritants,” says Teng. Ease laundry detergent sheets are created liquid-free and conveniently designed with paper packaging, reducing the use of plastic and carbon footprint. With the belief that cleaning should be effortless, effective, and healthy, Ease’s sustainably packaged gentle liquid-free laundry detergent sheet marks Ease’s first step in committing to an easier, more eco future. Additional cleaning products for bathroom, kitchen and personal care will be introduced later to provide an all-around ease living.
